All of our dogs are rescued from the local animal shelter.  Please note that every dog receives comprehensive veterinary care to ensure a responsible adoption.  Contact us to find out how you can adopt one of our dogs!

Please know that all of our dogs are looking for forever homes.  We do our best to ensure an appropriate fit with adopter and dog.  This means that we do everything possible to make a happy adoption.  Our adopters become part of our team.  PAWS dogs will always be accepted back into the program should a life event or situation arise.

Update!  April 2008:  Ruby and Oreo earn their Canine Good Citizen certifications through the AKC!!!  Way to go youth and dogs!!!

Four of our PAWS dogs (Buddy, Bindhi, Cocoa Bean, and Chance) just earned their CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certifications through the American Kennel Club.  When you adopt a PAWS dog, you have the option to continue obedience training on your own, if you want to; or to bring your dog in weekly for training with the youth and obedience instructor.  Either way, our goal is to adopt out dogs that are socialized, happy, and healthy.  We believe that continued training and responsible vet care are key elements of a happy adoption!
